RaceFest respects the privacy of participants and website visitors and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller

2. What personal data do we collect?
When you register for the event, RaceFest may collect the following data:
- the driver's first name and surname;
- date of birth or age;
- contact details;
- competition class;
- SWS-related data, where required for the event;
- data relating to registration and payment of the entry fee;
- for underage drivers, the contact details of a parent or legal guardian;
- any other information the participant provides voluntarily during registration.
We only collect data that is necessary for organising the event and communicating with participants.
Feedback form. When you send the feedback form on this website, we store the text you wrote, the rating you gave and the role you selected, along with your name and email address if you choose to add them. Name and email are optional — feedback can be sent anonymously. We also store your browser type and an irreversible hash calculated from your IP address; these are used only to keep spam out. The IP address itself is not stored.
3. What is personal data used for?
Personal data is used primarily for:
- handling registration for the RaceFest event;
- assigning drivers to classes and start lists;
- running the event and compiling the results;
- sharing event-related information with participants;
- managing entry fees and registrations;
- managing SWS points and results, where relevant;
- ensuring safety and the orderly running of the event.
- reading feedback sent through the website and organising the next RaceFest better.
4. Publication of participants' names and results
Taking part in the event means that the driver's name, competition class, start number and race results may be published on the RaceFest website, on social media, in the event's results system and in other channels directly related to the event.
We publish only the information necessary for running the event and reporting the results.
5. Photos and video
RaceFest is a public sporting event during which photographs and video recordings may be made.
This material may be used to report on the RaceFest event and to promote RaceFest and future events on the website, on social media and in other RaceFest-related communication channels.
If a participant, or the parent/legal guardian of an underage participant, has a justified objection to the use of photo or video material, please contact the organiser at info@racefest.ee.
6. Third parties
To organise the event we may use third-party services, such as registration forms, payment services, web hosting, timing and the SWS system.
Personal data is passed on to third parties only to the extent necessary for providing the service in question, or where disclosure is required by law.
Kartul Racing MTÜ does not sell participants' personal data and does not pass it on to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
7. Data retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for organising the event, resolving any event-related questions, or complying with obligations arising from law.
Public race results and photo and video material created during the event may remain publicly available after the event has ended, for the purpose of documenting RaceFest history and past events.
Data sent through the feedback form is retained until the next RaceFest has been organised, and for no longer than two years from the day it was sent. If you would like your feedback deleted sooner, write to info@racefest.ee.
8. Participants' rights
In the cases provided for by law, a person has the right to:
- receive information about the personal data processed about them;
- request the correction of inaccurate data;
- request the erasure of data;
- restrict or object to the processing of their personal data;
- withdraw consent given, where processing is based on consent.

A person also has the right to contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
9. Changes to this privacy policy
Kartul Racing MTÜ may amend this privacy policy where necessary. The version in force is always published on the website racefest.ee.
